Tune in for BROKEN PLACES premiere April 6!

The centerpiece 2020 CAP Month campaign, BROKEN PLACES is an important documentary film by Roger Weisberg.

While our live screenings and panel discussions have had to be canceled or postponed due to physical distancing orders resulting from the COVID-19 virus, you can get a sneak peek, or even see the whole film!

Tune in to a participating PBS station April 6 (check local listings). Or, click here to see a preview trailer any time, or to stream the film in full on April 6th at 7:00 p.m. (9:00 p.m. Central).

BROKEN PLACES explores why some children are severely damaged by early adversity, while others are able to thrive. By revisiting childhood trauma victims first profiled by the filmmakers decades ago, we learn how those childhood experiences shaped their lives as adults.

BROKEN PLACES interweaves these longitudinal narratives with commentary from a few nationally renowned experts to help viewers better understand the devastating impact of childhood adversity, as well as the inspiring characteristics of resilience.
