In July 2022, the California Department of Social Services (CDSS), in collaboration with the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), released a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP-CCC-9503) to implement the Children’s Crisis Continuum Pilot Program (CCCPP). CDSS has announced that eight counties or regional collaboratives of counties have been selected to receive a combined $61.3 million in grant funding to participate in the CCCPP.
San Luis Obispo, in a regional collaborative with Santa Barbara, has been selected for a preliminary award of $3,650,000 to participate in the CCCPP.
Other counties selected include Los Angeles, Monterey, Riverside, San Diego, and regional collaboratives of Fresno / Madera, Riverside / San Bernardino, and San Francisco / Contra Costa / Marin / Solano / Sonoma, Stanislaus / Merced / San Joaquin.
Upon finalizing an Agreement with the CDSS, each participant will begin implementation of their local Children’s Crisis Continuum Pilot Program.
